After several releases, Emmy-Nominated Rie Sinclair's official "Debut" Album, A Moment You Never Dreamed, is here. She's created a following over the last 5 years as a songwriter, and chances are you've heard her tunes on shows like "Ghost Whisperer", "Dirt", "Law & Order", "Smantha Who", "Bionic Woman", and other various MTV, ABC & NBC shows, with a personal cameo from Miss Sinclair on Season II of "Californication", and a theme song out on the CW's Blonde Charity Mafia winter 2009. This "Sparkling Violeteer's" new dark, raw, & sexy LP was co-produced by the artist with Eli Thomson (Richard Swift), & brought to life with a collective of amazing musicians. Mastered by three-time Grammy winner Gavin Lurssen in Los Angeles, A Moment captures Rie's haunting but playful vibe in a 40 something-minute set that could easily score a film.
Earlier this year, Rie launched a project with Abandoned Pools’ Tommy Walter, called Oliver the Penguin. The first album, Button Pusher, was officially released in March, 2009. Oliver was unexpected collaboration between the two one afternoon in June ‘07 during a writing session. Reminiscent of The Postal Service, Frou Frou, & The Bird And The Bee, OTP appeals to the core of innocence in us all. Smashing more than sound waves together, the duo's music attempts to capsule laws of physics as they play out in relationships. Happy but dreamy & melancholic.
